Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Anyaehie

Professor Ugochukwu Bond Anyaehie is a distinguished academic and medical educator specializing in Physiology, Clinical Measurements, and Public Health. A permanent member of the University of Nigeria Senate since 2013, he has supervised over 40 postgraduate students, with three attaining professorship. Prof. Anyaehie has served as a consultant for international donor agencies such as UKAID, USAID, and the World Bank on health systems development. His leadership roles include pioneering the establishment of the College of Medicine at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, and serving as Provost at Imo State University College of Medicine and Deputy Provost at the University of Nigeria College of Medicine. With a wealth of international exposure, he has been a visiting scholar and scientist at KU Leuven, Belgium, and the Medical University of Graz, Austria. Prof. Anyaehie is also an active community leader, serving as President of the Nkwerre Aborigines Union and Provincial President of the Christian Men’s Fellowship for the Province of Enugu. Renowned for his humor, storytelling, and expertise in policy development, he remains a vital figure in academia and public service.
